Things to do in Fremont Street 4.5 miles (7.3 kms) north of the Las Vegas Strip. The Fremont Street Experience is a pedestrian mall comprising five blocks of downtown Las Vegas, lined by iconic casinos and hotels and a hot-bed of thrilling excitement. Transit operates service from the Strip SDX or (DEUCE-24 hrs).

1. Viva Vision Light Show

12.5 million energy-efficient LED lamps make up the world’s largest video screen 1,500 feet long and 90 feet wide. This barrel vault canopy “Space Frame” also houses 220 speakers powered by 550,000 watts of amplification thereby providing a light and sound show that is spectacular. These 6-minute shows of dazzling, high-resolution imagery begin at 6 pm and run on the hour until 1 am based upon the season. During the shows, all lights in the mall are turned off and the featured music is played throughout the mall.

2. SlotZilla Ziplining

Zipline in a seated position 77 feet high for 850 feet or Zoomline prone (super-hero) style 114 feet high for 1700 feet under the beautifully illuminated Viva Vision canopy in Fremont street for un unforgettable experience. Pop out of a 12-story high slot machine inspired starting point and take in all the excitement happening below you with a bird’s-eye-view while zipping at speeds upto 35 miles (56 kms) per hour. 3. Live Entertainment

4. Freebies Downtown

 

  • Free slot machine pulls at Fremont Street casinos. One is at Binion’s Gambling Hall and the other is at Four Queens Hotel and Casino. At each, guests can win up to $2,500 cash.
  • Take a free photo with a million dollars cash at Binion’s Gambling Hall from 10 am to 11 pm each day.
  • Main Street Station Hotel has a huge slab of the Berlin Wall inside the men’s restroom and has urinals affixed to it. Yes, that Berlin Wall.
